nextlab has signed a strategic AI partnership with APJII (Asosiasi Penyelenggara Jasa Internet Indonesia), Indonesia's largest association of internet service providers.

What is APJII?

APJII is Indonesia's leading internet industry association, representing approximately 1,500 internet service providers (ISPs) across the country. As a central pillar of Indonesia's ICT ecosystem, APJII is now joining forces with nextlab to accelerate AI-driven digital innovation at a national scale.
What This Partnership Is About

This collaboration centers on two core initiatives.
The first is the joint development of a national public internet quality measurement platform. Despite the fact that internet quality data is generated within Indonesia, the platforms and data ownership have long been controlled by foreign service companies — forcing Indonesian stakeholders to repurchase their own data at significant cost. Through this platform, APJII will establish full data sovereignty over its national internet quality infrastructure.
The second is the introduction of an AI Agent-based workflow automation solution. By automating repetitive administrative tasks — including fee collection and member inquiries across 1,500+ member organizations — APJII aims to dramatically improve operational efficiency and redirect resources toward higher-value initiatives.
Why nextlab
nextlab has spent over five years delivering and validating AI-based network quality management solutions to Korea's three major telecom operators — KT, LG U+, and SK Broadband. This partnership was built not on promises of what could be done, but on a proven record of what has already been accomplished.
Building on this partnership, nextlab is accelerating its push into the Southeast Asian market. Following the establishment of its Indonesian subsidiary (PT. NEXTLAB TECHNOLOGY ASIA) in March, nextlab will continue to deliver AI solutions tailored to local market needs — further cementing its position as a global AI technology company.
Stay tuned for what nextlab does next — understanding industrial challenges better than anyone, and turning them into technology.
