Introduced NEXTLab in Bobbin Journal

NEXTLab has innovative technologies in Smart Factory for deep learning-based foreign object detection equipment (Beyond X-Ray), camera image-based production monitoring and work behavior analysis, and integrated MES platform.These innovative NEXTLab technologies were introduced in the November 2020 issue of the monthly sewing technology magazine.<Cover of Monthly Sewing Technology Magazine>  Monthly sewing technology magazine introduces NEXTLab's Smart Factory technology to improve quality according to foreign object detection accuracy, reduce customer complaints, and maximize work efficiency according to camera image-based production measurement.  <NEXTLab's article featured in Bobbin Journal>  I'm so happy and excited that we were introduced in Monthly Sewing Technology, the biggest specialty in the sewing industry, and I'll continue to work on developing upgraded technologies, looking forward to the interests of the sewing industry! 

Introduce a STB Multimeter

NEXTLab will introduce STB Multimeter!The clean and compact set-top box is small in appearance but can use all the functions used in the existing STB Station Single equipment the same.In addition, LCD monitors for touch are installed, allowing immediate testing and monitoring without any additional monitor connection.The first STB Multimeter customer is Abies, Inc.Previously, they recorded STB's screen manually and analyzed it one by one.They say that their work satisfaction has increased greatly through the automation of tests.Also, many people said that existing equipment is difficult to carry around.It has been upgraded to a compact size, making it easier to carry.We are pleased to realize "provide a solution that allows customers to focus on more valuable things" such as a NEXTLab's goals.

2020 New Year's Workshop

NEXTLab went to the New Year's workshop in 2020. We spent three days together from Jan. 9-11, 2020.The workshop of NEXTLab employees, who are good at work but also play well, was like a festival.We took a commemorative photograph.We had the time to announce the results of 2019 and to announce who was promoted, and to announce "the most proud project" by team.Congratulations on your promotion!Also, Ji-woong was voted select the most popular people in NEXTLab.We had a time to play games in the evening.On the next day of the workshop, the event was divided into ski team and trout fishing team.We were able to participate actively and successfully finish the workshop.I hope many wonderful things will happen to NEXTLab in 2020.

1st export, Beyond X-Ray

In October 2019, NEXTLab achieved its first export to Vietnam and Indonesia.No.1 export of NEXTLab is Beyond X-Ray.This machine provides high inspection performance by upgrading existing X-Ray machine.Beyond X-Ray has a high detection capability to detect even 1mm of foreign matter in the product.Also, the device, which is based on more than 200,000 extensive field data, is a device that has been developed.The detection rate is about 98.9%, which is very accurate and provides quick test results.It is designed to sit in front of the monitor to check for foreign objects and simply operate with a joystick.In the case of conventional inspection methods, it took a long time and it was difficult to pinpoint foreign substances.However, after the introduction of NEXTLab Beyond X-Ray, the efficiency of work has improved and employee satisfaction has been very high.NEXTLab is making continuous improvements to provide a more performance detection model, a more user-friendly interface.Based on the successful performance of local companies, we hope that we can help not only bags and clothing but also various businesses in the future.

SK ICT TECH SUMMIT 2019

NEXTLab visited SK ICT Tech Summit 2019 at Walkerhill Theater & Vista Hall on October 28 and 29.*NEXTLab did not have a separate booth, but participated as a demonstration assistant and booth sponsor for the delivered product:) SK ICT Tech Summit, which will be held for the fourth time this year, is a place where SK Group shares its ICT technologies and services.This is where you can enjoy the latest technologies and services of SK Group. A total of 19 SK related companies participated, 41 presentations, 81 exhibitions, etc.We could see a variety of people participating. NEXTLab has sponsored an ‘AI-based voice verification automation solution’ booth.An integrated verification platform for unified management of verification processes on the Web,Voice UI based smartphone application (T-Map) automated verification technology that combines TTS-based voice call and voice modulation technology,Voice UI based STB Media Service Automation Verification Technology, etc. that enables real-time broadcasting quality and UI analysis.It was a great opportunity to showcase a wide range of technologies. There was an unseen and difficult process of preparation.Many of you have visited the booth and have been interested in it.I was proud to forget about the fatigue and focus on the event.

NEXTLab's Third Team Day in 2019

2019.11.12NEXTLAB’S THIRD TEAM DAYIt is time for the third ‘Team Day’, which is one of NEXTLab’s many welfare systems that went into effect this year.Unlike the previous team day, which was divided by each team, everyone was there except members who had other schedule.  Lotte World, which was close but couldn’t go due to the busy schedule, was chosen as the venue for this team day.As you can see in the picture, despite the fact that it was a weekday afternoon, there was a huge crowd. Before starting Gyrospin, there was one person who was extremely nervous: Gibum Kim, our senior researcher.When the ride actually started, he had the most difficult time among everyone.(hints:red) Doesn’t it look so fun just looking at the pictures? That's Eunbi Jeon, our management support team leader. She always cheers up everyone with her bright mood. The tired appearance of four brothers and sisters in a dog hat.Gayoung, a bright, chubby college intern, joined us late in the afternoon and enjoyed it together.Since we rode most of the popular attractions in the morning, she missed out on them. Poor Gayoung... After a fun team day, we had a quick dinner together.I hope more people would enjoy Soju. I don’t even remember the last time I went to the theme park.It’s been a long time since I had so much fun.

2019-10-16 NEXTLAB SELECTED BEST COMPANY FOR WORK INNOVATION

 In order to create a work-life balance of employment environment, namely work-life balance, excellent companies for work innovation were selected in 2019 and incentivized to induce voluntary and active work innovation of companies. There is a system called Work Innovation Incentive System. The Ministry of Employment and Labor is the new labor-management development foundation. NEXTLab,  confident in differentiated welfare and environment, has also applied to participate as a work innovation company.But,........ Not only was it selected as an excellent company in the incentive system for work innovation, but it was also ranked as the best rank(SS) among them. Even though a company should score at least 700 out of 1,000 to receive the SS rating, NEXTLab was proudly selected as SS grade. (It feels as if we ranked number one because the list is in Korean alphabetical order.)The best companies selected this time will be exempted from regular labor supervision for three years from the date of selection, preferential treatment for participating in government support projects, etc. They say you can enjoy a wide range of benefits.Manager Jeon Eun-bi of the management support team, who worked hard during the application process, was especially acknowledged for her effort. I think all the members who lead NEXTLab with bright energy and active attitude contributed greatly to this selection.I'm already wondering what the next evolution of NEXTLab will do every year. :)

2019-10-08 3Q WORKSHOP

Nextlab's Q3 workshop was held on October 8th. There was always a time to share quarterly goals and achievements, but this workshop boldly abandoned the rigid procedure and proceeded with a lighter topic than usual.  The first order of this workshop was the announcement of Yoon Young-joo, who happily presented the difficulties of overseas business trips. Her parody of "I Want to Know It" caught everyone's attention.In addition, Kim Ga-young and Baek Ji-yoon, who are completing the internship course of university students, also participated in the event.  After lunch, we gathered together and moved to Eulji-ro.During this workshop meeting, the CEO said, "Is there anything hip?"What you said was a source of trouble.We went on a tour near Eulji-ro, also called Hiji-ro.Jongno and Eulji-ro used to be very common, but with the explanation of a professional curator,Each element came new, and it was a good experience to reflect on this place once again. The set-up shot of CEO Lee Chang-geun and Dr. Park Young-soo during the Euljiro tour.It blends with a retro background and gets into the mood.  We also went to Eulji-ro 4-ga along Cheonggyecheon Stream after the tour at Eulji-ro 3-ga!A company dinner continued at '7.8 Makgeolli'.In a makgeolli restaurant run by a foreigner, a foreigner introduces alcohol in Korean.It was a unique and interesting experience.That concludes Q3 2019 Workshop Review:)  

2019-07-12 Second Quarter Settlement

Nextlab is conducting an internal workshop that shares quarterly goals and performance. The quarterly workshop that we've been doing since this year is:Share management status and performance of each team to improve understanding of mutual work.It comes from the purpose of promoting the intimacy of the members through awards and recreation.In addition, it was a meaningful time with the addition of the foundation celebration.* NEXTLab was born on 14 July 2012 :) It was time to look back on the second quarter of NEXTLab with all the members.This is how we share sales status and future plans together. Lee Ji-woong, the lead researcher of the 1st New ITEM AWARD, will take the honor.He presented ideas that are related to his work and received the best evaluation as a result of internal review.The selected ideas will be commercialized after materialization. The second award category combines the accumulated results of the praise Bot developed by the company, on-site voting, and executive evaluation.The NEXTLabber Award is given to the member who received the best evaluation this quarter.The main character became Lee Se-yong, a senior researcher. As a prize, 500,000 won in travel support and accommodation rights were awarded. After finishing all the in-house meals, I'm on my way to Gangnam Station to enjoy recreation. Due to the high number of people, we've decided to notify them of the time and place, and we've decided to gather on our own.This is what the "Ddareungi Team' looks like. We all gathered at the screen sports experience center at Gangnam Station and had a great time before dinner.At the end of the workshop, we'll have a Chinese course dinner.We successfully finished the workshop in Q2 2019.I'm already curious about what kind of new attempts the next workshop will make.

2019-06-04 STS + DIMS

Nextlab's Second Team Day (TEAMDAY)Two or more members of the team conduct outdoor activities such as meals and picnics to promote friendship between the members.This is the second time of Team Day, NEXTLab's differentiated welfare system.This team day will be led by Jung Yong-jin and Cho Eun-bi of the DIMS team.Park Jae-hyun, Kim Sang-yoon, and Kim Ki-bum of the STS team were together.  As a result of the decision of the meeting place, it was selected as Konkuk University Station.As soon as we got together early in the morning, we filled our stomachs at the salad bar.  After the meal, we moved to the massage cafe, Mr. Healing.We sat in the massage chair for about an hour to relieve muscles and fatigue.  Now that we had relieved our fatigue after eating, the last place we traveled to was...It is an indoor shooting range filled with a variety of sports, as well as a bow that pulls demonstrations directly from guns such as rifles and pistols.Everyone's so good at this, putting their heads together until the end of the game.It was so tense that no one could predict the outcome.Let's finish posting looking forward to the next Team Day:)
